The Impact of Entrepreneurship on Economic Growth in Transitional Economies: An Empirical Study

Abstract

Entrepreneurship research has evolved significantly over the last three decades, and applied research has varied the impact of entrepreneurship on economic growth, which mainly uses standard methods to estimate models and interpret relationships, inthis paper we attempts to study the impact of entrepreneurship on economic performance in economies in transition through the panel data model, The study period runs from 1996 to 2025, The sample study includes 23 countries. The results of the study showed a positive moral relationship between the rate of self-employment (entrepreneurship) and per capita GDP growth, The results also showed that economic institutions have an important role to play in stimulating entrepreneurial activity and thus increasing production.
