Anti-Competitive Practices In The Electronic Communications Sector As Indirect Guarantees For Investment In It In Algerian Law
Keywords:
Electronic communications, investment, unfair competition, anti-competitive practices.Abstract
Under the influence of competition, the electronic communications institution, as an economic operator, often resorts to doubling its economic power in the market by using methods that are inconsistent with the rules of free competition. Some of them may attempt to reduce the number of their competitors or exclude them from the market through illegal means described as anti-competitive practices aimed at limiting or eliminating competition. It has become clear that it is necessary to provide adequate and proportionate systems to the sector in order to ensure free competition, which is one of the indirect guarantees granted to those dealing in the electronic communications sector. The study aimed to understand the content of competition in the field of electronic communications activity based on the law relating to mail and electronic communications, Order 03-03 relating to competition, and the investment law, and to address the forms of anti-competitive practices.
