Legal Developments Regarding the Assisted Promotional Housing in Algeria

Abstract

For the sake of realizing the right in appropriate housing, the Algerian state endeavors to reinforce this right in its legislative texts to allow all categories of the society enjoying this right without any distinction.

This is achieved through the diversification of the housing formulae destined to moderate income categories, among such categories we have the subsidized promotional housing effective since 2010 by Executive Decree No 10-235 of 5 October 2010. However, the Algerian legislator intervened by making some amendments giving rise to the emergence of a new formula of subsidized promotional housing, so what are these amendments?
